Holiday in Isola Rossa 2019

Isola Rossa is a small but well established hamlet in the area of Trinità d'Agultu and Vignola. Once a fishing village, which still retains its charming appearance, today it is a highly developed and organized tourist resort and one of the most celebrated seaside resorts in Northern Sardinia. Overlooking the Gulf of Asinara, it is well positioned between sites of historical and archaeological interest and the most famous tourist resorts in the North, such as the Costa Smeralda, Santa Teresa di Gallura, Castelsardo, Alghero and Stintino. One of the local distinctive landmarks is the sixteenth-century coastal Spanish tower.

The origin of Isola Rossa’s name comes from the color of the reddish island which is about 400 meters from the coast providing a picture post card view to tourists.
