The cult in the region of Arborea

Cristo Redentore: it is one festivity that keeps the traditions of Arborea founders from Veneto, beyond the religious contents. This cult is renewed every May on the occasion of Corpus Domini.

Madonna del Remedy: the festivity dedicated to the Virgin Mary is on the 8th of September, in a locality of Oristano, where is located the homonym church, unique proof of Nuracraba, disappeared village (destroyed around the 1740). On this occasion, the “is cumbessias”( the characteristic houses of the novenanti that in past were built next to the sanctuaries) are animated in order to give hospitality to the numerous faithfuls and visitors, that reach the sanctuary for demanding a “rimedio” to a disease or a serious familiar problem.
