Anglona

The beautiful Marina di Badesi (8 kilometers long) is surely the most extended and populated beach among those in Anglona (San Pietro, foce del Coghinas, Li Lunchi). In this territory there are several rocks with many varieties of fish. This is a really good destination for scuba diving and photography lovers. Here, on the sea bottom you may also have the chance to see finds of Spanish galleon and other ancient boats.

Arborea

The coast of the province of Oristano includes the regions of Arborea and Sinis. In Arborea many are the localities in which it is possible to lay on fine sand beaches and to enjoy the turquoise sea, such as Marina di Arborea.

Baronìe

Cala Liberotto and Cala Ginepro are only two of the most famous and populated coastal localities of Baronìe, region that boasts magnificent white sand beaches , such as Berchida and La Caletta. For the rocky lovers we recommend Capo Comìno’s red cliffs. For those who can move by boat, it is possible to discover small creeks and cavities, that can not be reached otherwise, unless you are an experienced climber. The turquoise sea characterizes also this part of the coast.

Marghine-Planargia

The coast of Bosa is characterized mostly by the presence of volcanic-origin rocks (some are flat and emerge from the sea, such as around the Argentine tower) or by cosy beaches of thick and dark sand. The most beautiful beach is Poglina.

Montiferru

In the south-west, nearby the Peninsula of Sinis, it is worth visiting the zone of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri. Not far from it, there is S' Archittu, that takes the name from the characteristic limestone-rocky arc placed on the sea.

Sassarese-Romangia

The coast of this region is not very extended. The most beautiful part is Marina di Sorso, but the Sassareri (people from Sassari city) traditionally love going to the Lido di Platamona. Around the adjacent pine wood, in the Fifties, hotels and villas were constructed, making it a really popular summer resort. However, the Sassari's young generation, starting from about fifteens years ago, prefers going to the most renowned beaches of Alghero and Stintino.
