The suggestive coast of Ogliastra, protected by mounts

Ogliastra boasts some of the prettiest sea localities, in abundance both under a quantitative and qualitative profile. There is the rock ( even of a bright red color, as in Arbatax) and there is the really thin white sand, for example on the beaches of Cea and Orrì, between Barisardo and Tortolì, or the beach of Coccorrocci on the Gairo territory. 

Several localities are not easily accessible and, thanks to this characteristic have kept intact their wild beauty: this is the case of Cala Mariolu, Cala Sisine e Goloritzè, just to mention some of the most notorious examples. These have a point in common: the sea color (blue or turquoise, according to the seabed) and the surrounding nature (different shades of green) that reaches across beaches and cliffs. Uncontaminated paradises, difficult to describe.
