Not only mountain, “Nuorese” boasts a beautiful coast

The Nuoro area is without doubts, predominantly mountainous. However, the portion of land on the Gulf of Orosei stands up to any comparison. In the territory of Dorgali standout Cala Luna and Cala Gonone: the first is characterized by a tiny sandy inlet wedged in between the cliffs, dividing the sweet water of a stream from the salted turquoise sea-water.

Cala Gonone is also very beautiful, popular tourist destination even because of its small port where coaster boats can be moored. By the sea, it is also possible to access to others small bays and to many caves, like the amazing Bue Marino (look at Caves).
