Maimoni (Cabras, province of Oristano)

Maimoni beach is situated near Cabras. The sandy shore is characterized by white sand mixed to pink and white quartz pebbles. This is the reason that is not allowed to take away the pebbles from the beach. Its name derives from Maimone, the god of water, which cult is connected to San Salvatore's Church. Near the beach there is San Salvatore village. The coastline is an ideal place for families with children: it is very important to be careful beacuse the sea could be dangerous when it is rough. Also it is a good place for surfers.

How to reach the beach
