Portixeddu Acuau (Sant’Antioco, province of Carbonia-Iglesias)

Portixeddu Acuau beach is situated in the island of Sant'Antioco, in a place not very simple to reach, because it is almost hidden. This is the reason of its name. It is characterized by a rocky beach and a sandy sea floor. Typical Mediterranean bushes grow in the area behind the beach.

How to reach the beach

Leaving the village take the road that brings to the beaches; before arriving to Maladroxia, you can find the beach that it is not signposted. For reaching it you have to take a steep path, hidden among the trees and a little difficult to see.
