Maladroxia (Sant'Antioco, province of Carbonia-Iglesias)

Maladroxia beach is situated in the island of Sant’ Antioco. It is characterized by a silky grey sand and by a shallow water surrounded by rocks and cliffs. Just in front of the breach it is possible to see the islands of the Cow and of the Bull. On the back side of the beach there is the touristic Maladroxia village and the S’Ega de Marteddu nuraghe which dominates the hill. It is the ideal place for surfing and for scuba diving.The shallowness of the water near the shore make Maladroxia an ideal place for children too.

 

How to reach the beach

Leaving Sant’ Antioco, after Agip filling station, turn on the left following the road sign “Spiagge” (Beaches). After 5 km you arrive at the junction to Maladroxia, turn on the left and continue for 2,3 km till reaching Maladroxia beach.

 

Services

The beach provides the following services: disabled people facilities, large parking, hotel, campsite, bar and restaurant. It is possible to rent beach ombrellas, deckerchairs and pedalos.
