Tuarredda (Teulada, province of Cagliari)

Tuarredda beach is situated in a bay between Capo Malfatano and Capo Spartivento, in Teulada. It is considerated one of the most beautiful Sardinian beaches. It is famous for its snow-white sand and its crystal clear water. The coastline is surrounded by a green Mediterranean vegetation such as age-old junipers. The little Tuaredda island is situated just in front of the beach, at some metres from the sea shore. It is possible to reach it swimming in a few minutes. In the little island you can spend some time laying on the beach or exploring its inner side rich of mediterranean vegetation. Its clear and shallow water, represented the ideal place for swimming for a long time, actually the temperature is always mild. In some places the sand takes turn with rocks covered by self-vegetation.

 

How to reach the beach

Leave Cagliari and take the highway SS 195 direction to Teulada. Then turn on the right in direction to Chia for 10 km till arriving on the beach which is signaled.

 

Services

The beach offers: bar, restaurant, parking (extra charge) and some equipment for the beach. It is possible rent canoe, pedalos and to go on trip with rubber boat.
