Su Giudeu (Domus de Maria, province of Cagliari)

Su Giudeu beach overlooks the bay of Chia which is joined to other beaches such as Colonia, Porto Campana and S’Acqua Durci. The sandy shore is characterized by white sand and crystal clear water. The octopus (“Su Giudeu” in Sardinian dialect), which swims in this coast gives its name to the beach and to the couple of cliffs situated just in front of the beach. The shallowness of the water makes Su Giudeu beach an ideal place for children.

How to reach the beach

It is possible to reach the beach taking the panoramic road “Costa del sud”: the road signs there are on the left side of the road. It is considerated a ideal place for scuba diving.
