Cala Pira (Castiadas, province of Cagliari)

Cala Pira beach is situated in Castiadas. It is characterized by silky white sand with shades of pink. The Tower of Cala Pira dominates the North-East side of the sandy shore, surrounded by dunes, granites and age-old junipers. It is appreciated by people who like to make boat excursions, actually it is possible to land. The shallowness of the water makes Cala Pira an ideal place for families with children.

How to reach

From Costa Rei you can reach the beach taking the panoramic road 18. When you arrive at the 11 km, there is the road sign for the beach written on a rock near a dirt road.
