Santa Maria Navarrese (Baunei, province of Ogliastra)

The coastline of Santa Maria Navarrese, is situated in Baunei. It is characterized by a crystal clear blue water and by a white sand mixed to gravel and pebles. This place takes its name from the rural church built in the Medieval Age under the Princess of Navarra. The shallowness of the water let children play on the shore. It is a good place for underwater fishing.

 

How to reach the beach

It is very easy to reach the beach because it is located into the village, in the Southern side of the Spanish tower which dominates the beach, surrounded by the typical Mediterranean vegetation.

 

Services

The beach provides the following services: disabled people facilities and a parking where campers can stop. Also there are hotels, campsite, bars, restaurants and pubs. It is possible to rent beach ombrellas, deckerchairs and pedalos.
