Cala Biriola (Baunei, province of Ogliastra)

Cala Biriola overlooks the Gulf of Orosei, in Baunei, under the wood of Biriola, where junipers and a luxuriant vegetation grow on the rocks. It is characterized by a crystal clear water. Near the beach is possible to see a natural bow in the rock. The shallowness of the water let children play on the shore. It is a nice place for scuba diving and snorkeling.

How to reach the beach

Every day there are boats which leave the ports of Cala Gonone, Arbatax and Santa Maria Navarrese to reach the coves. It is also possible to reach cala Biriola walking through a hard trekking path.
