Cala Sassari (Golfo Aranci, province of Olbia-Tempio)

Cala Sassari is located in Golfo Aranci. This large creek is characterized by crystal clear water and white sand alternate to granitic rocks. The beach is also bordered by two promontories that gives it an wild look.The shallowness of the water let children swim and play without dangers.

 

How to reach the beach

It can be reach from Olbia in direction to Golfo Aranci taking the road SP 82. At the 10,700 kilometre, turn on the right near a telephone box. After 300 metres turn on the left and continue for 50 metres, then turn on the left again in a dirt road for about 400 metres before reaching the beach.

The beach offers the following services: disabled people facilities, a large parking, bars and restaurants. It is possible to rent beach ombrellas, deckerchairs and pedalos. It is an ideal place for scuba diving and snorkeling.
