Capriccioli (Arzachena, province of Olbia-Tempio)
Capriccioli beach takes its name from the place where it is located (Arzachena). The beach is characterized by white fine sand alternates to granitic rocks. The bay is bordered by a luxuriant Mediterranean "macchia" and pine trees.It is divided in two parts by huge granitic masses of stone.From the beach it is possible to reach the near island of Mortorio, an naturalistic oasis rich of vegetation, studded with rocks of different shapes and colours. The shallowness of the water makes Capriccioli an ideal place for children.
How to reach the beach
Leaving Olbia take SS 125 in direction to Palau. After 7,2 kilometres turn on the right in direction to Costa Smeralda taking the road P 73 for 7,6 kilometres till arriving at the junction for San Pantaleo. Here you have to turn on the right taking the road SP 94. After 8 kilometres you can find another junction for Cala di Volpe and Capriccioli.
Services
The beach offers different services such as: disabled people facilities, a large parking and a bar. It is possible to rent beach ombrellas and deckerchairs.
