Platamona (Sorso, province of Sassari)

Platamona is located in the resort from which it takes its name in Sorso. Nearby the beach there is the lake of Platamona that is fed by the canal Buddi Buddi. The wide bay is covered by coarse-grained sand and little stones.

 

How to reach the beach

It can be reached covering the state road that connects the port of Porto Torres to Castelsardo. The beach extends from the tower of abbacurrente until the sandy shore of Santa Maria di Sorso.

 

Services

The beach offers many services: large parking area (also for campers), disabled people facilities, snack bars and a hotel. It is possible to rent beach umbrellas and pattinos. Campin is allowed. This beach is considered an ideal place for families with children and for surf and windsurf lovers.
