La Pelosa (Stintino, province of Sassari)

Pelosa beach is situated near Stintino, in front of Piana island and Asinara. The beach is characterized by its fine white sand and crystal clear water. In the north there is the Pelosa Tower, an imposing seventeenth-century building which dominates the coastline. The beaches, the islands and the sea, give a beautiful view spending a pleasant time. The rich beauty of the sea floors make diving very interesting. There are parking, bars and restaurant that help you to spend a nice holiday without renouncing to the comfort.

How to reach the beach

Leave Sassari and take SS 131 direction to Porto Torres. When you arrive to the village, turn on the left and continue to Stintino. Before arriving to the village and just before the Spanish Tower, taking a little way that brings you to the Spiaggia delle Saline (Salinas Beach). After 300 metres from the bridge of Casaraccio pond, there is a crossing: turn on the left and go to the ring road till the crossing which brings to the village again. Here, turn on the left till reaching the beaches. From Stintino is possible to go to the beach by bus.
