Cala dell’Argentiera Beach (Sassari, province of Sassari)
Cala dell’Argentiera takes the name from the resort in which it is set in Sassari. Cala dell’Argentiera overlooks the mining plants of the Argentiera, that has been used for years for its reserves of argentiferous lead and zinc. This bay is characterized by fine sand, gravel and mining powders. The clearness of water and its crystal clear shades contrast with the rocks, creating an extraordinary light effect. The beach is provided with a large parking and with disabled people facilities.
How to reach the beach
It can be reached covering the road that from Porto Torres leads to Palmadula. From the provincial road 18 continue towards the Argentiera so you will reach the beach set under the buildings of the ex-mining plant.
