Cala di Porticciolo (Alghero, province of Sassari)
Cala di Porticciolo takes the name from the resort where it is set in Alghero. Cala di Porticciolo is a suggestive bay overlooked by a seventeenth-century sighting tower of Porticciolo. On the sand grow light blue flowers and short vegetation. The beach is characterized by white sand near the shore and by brown cliffs.
How to reach the beach
It can be reached covering the road 55 bis to Sassari. To get the bay you must turn left and follow the signs to Porticciolo, at the end of the road, park the car and go through a pathway to reach the beach.
Services
It is the ideal place to spend relaxing days, since the beach is less frequented by tourists but also because it offers different services as for example hotels, bars and restaurants. The beach is provided with a camping ground.
