On the Tuttavista Mount the marble pits are still numerous

Numerous marble pits are present on the Monte Tuttavista, at an altitude of 806 meters. The chisellers of the zone of Orosei (one of the more important centers of Baronìe) works with great ability the big blocks of limestone rocks in competition with their neighbors from Gallura.

In the same region, the marble-work is also part of the Siniscola's tradition, while Irgoli is known and appreciated for the ability of its chisellers, that work the granite blocks.
