The shawl was not only an optimal expedient to cover oneself in the coldest days, but it was also an important partt of the traditional costume. The bright colors and the kind of weaving give value to these yarn, always in high demand by tourists.
In Siddi (Marmilla) it is possible to admire the work of few craftsmen, who hand down the great embroidery tradition.
