Barigadu, in the hearth of the forests the beautiful Oasis of Assai

A good part of Burigadu is recovered by woods, in which it is possible to have a walk on the fresh air even during the hottest periods of the year. The flora and the fauna are particularly interesting and full of surprises. To recommend the naturalistic Oasis of Assai, nearby the road which links Neoneli to Austis.

In front of the Forestale office (The policy civil corps specialised in the protection of the environment), stands the Museo Ornitologico (the Ornithological Museum), in which some of the most important animal species of the territory are exposed. During some precise moments of the day, in an enclosed and under surveillance area, it is possible to contemplate at a few meters, some specimens of fallow deers and red deers of the preserve, who go drinking and feeding.
