This area is passed thought by the Tirso river and some other smaller water streams whose guarantee a costant supply of water.
Planargia borders on Marghine in the east, on Mejlogu in the north east, on Nurra in the north (Monteleone area), on the sea in the west and on Montiferru in the south. Also here there is many uplands but mountains are lower becouse they strech out into the sea. The highest tops are those of Mont Sant’Antonio (806 mts) and Mont Mannu (802 mts). The main rivers are the Temo (with mouth in Bosa) and the rio Mannu. Beaches are quite few and mostly composed of vulcanic dark sand.
