The Cannonau, red D.O.C. recommended for the game

The Cannonau is one of the Sardinian tendril for excellence, for sure the most spread red wine (especially in the province of Nuoro and Ogliastra). It was carried by the Spanishes, who cultivated it in various province from remote ages. These grapes produce the Cannonau of Sardinia D.O.C. (Controlled denomination of origin) ruby-red wine, used even for “cutting” other red wines .
