From the Semidano excellent grapes suitable for sparkling wines as well

Marmilla and Arborea are the only Sardinia region where the "Semidano", a species of vine, is still planted even though it is usually preferred the Nuragus one becouse more resistant against parasiticals. The Semidano Sardegna D.O.C. (Denominazione d'Origine Controllata: "denomination of checked origin") is a fruity wine with a straw-coloured suitable for fish foods. From the Semidano is also possible to yield a D.O.C. sparkling wine.
