The Vermentino, the only D.O.C.G. Sardinian wine

The Vermentino is the traditional Sardinian tendril recently implanted, imported from Corsica only at the end of the ninenteenth century. From Gallura, it was quickly spread all around Sardinia.

In Anglona is produced the D.O.C. Vermentino of Sardinia (Controlled Origin Denomination), a quality white wine, one of the most requested in the Island.
One curiosity: the Vermentino produced in Gallura (from which the name) is the only Sardinian wine stamped D.O.C.G (Controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin).
