Filuferru, from censure to international renown

This transparent and pure marc is obtained from vintage rapes. The so called "Filuferru" is one of the most popular symbol of the island. It means literal "iron thread" becouse of a sardinian legend which says that the name was done when it was not allowed to produce it and farmer used to distill it clandestinely hiding the alembics underground and marking the exactly point with an iron thread to find it without difficulties.
Its very strong flavour and a high alcoholic content are the main characteristics of this carefully distilled marc, obtained from selectionned rapes of mixed species of vine of Gallura and Logudoro areas .
