L'ous de buciaca, old Catalan sweet

Ous de buciaca: is another typical sweet of Alghero, which dates back at least to the Seventeenth century. It has the shape of a circular small loaf, half ball, covered with white frosting. The central part is slightly flavoured with anise. It is usually cut into slices and eaten for breakfast.
