Sa pompìa, a citrus that grows exclusively in Baronìe

Sa pompìa: is a typical speciality that stands out among the other sweets produced in Siniscola, it has also been recognized by the Slow Food international organization. Sa Pompìa is a citrus similar to citron and grapefruit. It was probably born from a series of grafts that originated this fruit through the centuries (it was already know in the Roman age). Sa Pompìa grows exclusively in Baronìe. Its rind presents deformities due to the numerous swells, and it is transformed into a tasty candied fruit.
