Candelaus of almonds and icing

Candelaus: typical sweets of  town  festivals, made with almond paste, sugar and covered with icing. They take very bizarre shapes: amphorae, animals, plants, dolls, little shoes.

Candelaus are produced nearly everywhere in Sardinia.
