Su pistoccu, the crunchy bread of the shepherds

Once the shepherds used to prepare it with bran or barley flour, from which they obtained a Pistoccu of long conservation, that could be carried for the long period with the flock, far away from home. Nowadays it is made with the flower of the flour or of the semolina. It has a rectangular shape and it is very crunchy.
