Places to visit in Sant'Anna Arresi
Teulada is located on the southern coast, in the territory where there are some of the most renowned south-west sea localities (in particular Chia, which is also characterized by high sandy dunes). On the second Sunday of August, Teulada celebrates the founding of Sant' Isidoro simulacrum. Since the XVIII century, in the rustic church dedicated to him, on the evening's eve a long procession depart from the town, accompanied by folklorist groups and "traccas", adorned wagons towed by oxes. Teulada is famous particularly for embroidery, especially table linens. It is not a case, that the so-called "point Teulada" takes the name from the technique "a nodo" (dread) used in this Sulcis town.
In June the Figs Festival attracts many visitors to Domus de Maria where, in August, there is the Wild Boar Fair.
