In the countryside around Muravera, you will find the ruins of the megalithic site of the Scalas nuragh, characterized by several menhir of small and medium dimensions, and the ruins of the megalithic site of Mount Crobu Cuili Piras. Even the renowned beach of Costa Rei is located into the Muravera Communal jurisdiction, and the megalithic site of Piscina Rei is at only 200 meters from it.
In the territory of Saint Vito, in the village of San Priamo (characterized by a group of houses built in the Nineteenth century), it is possible to admire a Domus de Janas. In locality of Pranu Narbonis there are instead three domus. Not far from San Priamo you will see the Asoru nuragh. San Vito is the locality of Sarrabus, which has best preserved the ancient traditions regarding the webbing sector, especially the carpets creation (in woolen grains of different colors), woolen and cotton blankets, and drapery. Even the interlacing art has developed very well: in this locality are especially used swampy cane lines. On July, “Sa pezza de craba”festival is held in San Vito, here it will be possible to taste goat meat prepared in various ways.
In the countryside of Villaputzu, the sacred well of Is Pirois deserves a visit: a steep set of stairs leads to the mouth of a water course, which was used by the people of the nearby villages for the ablutions. Interesting are also the caves of Buddidroxia. Next to the ruins of the medieval castle of Quirra, in the territory of Villaputzu, not far from the 125 State Street, you will find the church of San Nicola di Quirra (XII century), the only example of Roman building built entirely in burnt bricks (in other churches, this material has been integrated with different materials).
