Lanusei

Lanusei is one of the most enchanting mountain locality of Ogliastra, characterized by Selene park, which surround it and the zone around it. From September to October it is possible to find excellent-quality giant mushrooms, in the remaining months it is the perfect resort for worthy healthy greenish walks. Hence, many elderly spend summery relaxing weeks here: on the evenings it is surely cool.   Since the XIX century, Lanusei accommodates the Salesiani, that built an imposing convent and old schools, which have educated various generations of people from Ogliastra.  We suggest you to visit the cathedral of Santa Maria Maddalena and the church dedicated to San Giovanni Bosco.
