Seneghe

In the historic centre of Seneghe, a town in Montiferru, it is worth visiting the churches of Saint Maria of the Rose (XV century) and of the Rosary, which is decorated with arabesques and frescoes. Numerous are the adorns that still nowadays embellish the doors and windows of the rooms in basalt and the handicraft laboratories of this locality.

The territory of Seneghe is renowned for its flourishing agriculture. Here in fact an optimal olive oil is produced and there are breeding of red oxen: a Sardinian-Modicana breed of bovines, very appreciated especially for their particularly appetizing meat, that it is offered in the restaurants and in many farm houses of the Oristano province.
