To visit in the territory of Bosa

There are reasons of interest also outside the inhabited center. Going through the road that flanks the church of Sant’Antonio Abbot, just a kilometer after you will find the church of San Pietro “extra muros” (outside the walls): it has been the cathedral of the diocese of Bosa and Alghero until the transfer in the church of the Beata Vergine Maria Immacolata.

Along the coast of Bosa (very beautiful, characterized by some really fascinating rock stretches) there are some towers of sight and defense of the territory, among which rise the Torre Aragonese dell’Isola Rossa and the Argentina and Columbargia towers, all of the XV-XVI century.
