Macomer
Macomer is a town of Marghine, set in a rather central position, in a territory inhabited by the man since pre-history. From this locality starts the stretch of line of the Trenino Verde towards Bosa. Very interesting is the parochial of San Pantaleo, at the entrance of the city if coming from Cagliari: constructed in the end of the XVI century, on the rests of a previous building (the bell tower goes back to the XV century, and also the chapel dedicated to San Giovanni is of that period), follows the Aragonese style, beginning from the bent crowning that ends with a cross in stone. Set at 556 meters on the sea level, in winter Macomer, usually whitens with snow.
