Torralba
Torralba owes its reputation to one of the most important nuragich fortresses of Sardinia, the so-called Reggia Nuragica, that is to say the nuragh of Santu Antine. It is a rather complex trilobed structure, whose parts were constructed in different periods. The central tower goes back to the I millenium B.C., while the pit and the village are of a successive period. In the local Museo della Valle dei Nuraghi del Logudoro – Meilogu (the Museum of the valley of the Nuraghs of the Logudoro-Meilogu) are guarded numerous findings uncovered by the archaeologists during the long digging works, beside some evidences of the passage of the Romans.
