To visit in the territory of Ozieri

Who wants to cross the territory and to cover about fifty kilometers by car, can go to Benetutti to see the most important thermal baths of center-north Sardinia: in locality San Saturnino, near the confluence of the rio Mannu into the Tirso river, there are the thermal baths Aurora, already known to the Romans. The rests of a thermal station of the I century A.D. are present in the interior of one of the two modern structures that recall thousands of peoples every year. From centuries, into the green, the water pools (the temperature caries from 34 to 43 degrees) are fed by underground veins. Close to the thermal baths Aurora, there is the Romanesque church of San Saturnino, that gives the name to the locality. It was constructed in the XII century on what remained of a nuragh.
