San Teodoro

The locality of San Teodoro is famous for the beauty of the sea but also for the activity of its thermal baths, that is begun in the second half of the XVII century. The hot mud come from the underground. It was in the half of the XVIII century that the duke Caracciolo di San Teodoro ordered the construction of a true plant in substitution of the primitive artifacts already existing. Refurbished and modified on several occasions, the thermal complex has come to the San Felice di Bagnoli family, that detains the Ancient property of the "Antiche Terme San Teodoro”. People who love going for a walk into the uncontaminated nature, will find rest also at the San Teodoro lake, separated from the sea by the homonym beach. It is important to say that the beach of the Cinta, just at the exit of the town, is very frequented during the summer time and is worth to be visiteed.
