Siniscola
In Siniscola, in the church of San Giovanni Batiste (XVIII century), you can admire a wooden sculpture that represents the Santissima Trinità, the frescoes that embellish all the inner walls and an organ of the 1700's. This locality of the Baronìe, famous for the marble working, is one of the centers par excellence of the Sardinian ceramic. An attraction of the town is surely the festival of “Su ramasinu”, an event of the agropastoral tradition. To the gourmets we suggest do not missing the festival of Sa Suppa siniscolesa, in August.
During the excursions in the surrounding territory, are worth a visit the caves of Sa Prejone ‘e S’Orcu and of Elene Portiche. Very fascinating the coast, in particular Cove Liberotto and Cala Ginepro.
