Neončli
In the highest part of the old town center of Neonèli, mountain center of Barigadu, rises the parochial of San Pietro: it was constructed in 1611 on the rests of a previous church. In its interior is guarded a silver monstrance of the 1400's. The church of the Angelo, rustic building constructed in half of the XVII century at the entrance of Neonèli, on the first Monday of August accommodates the “festa de s’Angelu”, of pastoral origin.
In the surrounding countrysides numerous are the "domus de janas": the better conserved are those of Pranu Sasa, Puleu and Su Angiu. To signal the naturalistic Oasis of Assai, near the road that connects Neoneli to Austis: in front of the barracks of the Forester is risen the Ornithological Museum, where are exposed some of the most important animal species of the territory. In an area enclosed and patrolled during some hours of the day, it is possible to see from a few meters fallow deers and red deers of the reservoir that go drinking and to feeding. In the Oasis, but in the territory of Nughedu Santa Vittoria, you can refresh at the source of Su Fustiarbu. In Nughedu Santa Vittoria there is the complex of Arzolas de Goi, that includes about ten domus de janas with pluricellular rooms, in whose walls are represented bull-like protomes. On the pavement are visible the “coppelle” small cavities that were used to collect the offers for the divinities.
