Valledoria

Pouring into the Gulf of the Asinara sea, the town of Valledoria boasts one of most beautiful beaches in Anglona, very characteristic because of the really thin sand around the zone of the Coghinas’ mouth, where immense dunes emerge. In the swamps of certain hollows, it is possible to watch the resident and the migratory birds. In the pine wood surrounding the mouth of the Coghinas, there is the medieval church of San Pietro a Mare, than has been widely restructured and modified from its original architecture. In the Roman zone is present a necropolis.
