Viddalba

Viddalba and the Coghinas river, an inseparable union, especially after the realization of the Casteldoria lake, an artificial basin feed by this river, where numerous species of birds nest around. The lake is one of the preferred destination for the kayak lovers. At the estuary of the Monte Ruiu gorge, towards the sea you can visit the Casteldoria spa, where water at elevated temperatures gush out from the springs. The atmosphere is surely one the main attraction of this town and of the surrounding territory, where it is possible to make beautiful walks by foot, horse or in mountain bike. However, there space also for the culture, as an example, you can visit the local Archaeological Civic Museum or the rustic church of San Giovanni, a Romanesque building of XI the century.
