The churches of Parteolla

The church of San Biagio, in Dolianova (the most important center of Parteolla), dates back to the XVI century (as it is possible to deduce from the portal and the presbytery in late Gothic style), but during the following ages have been brought some important modifications to the structure that is set on the main road of the town. In Dolianova is worth a visit the ex-cathedral of San Pantaleo, inside of a yard paved in stone: built between 1160 and 1289, it guards inside of it a font of the V century A.D., while outside it is possible to admire a roman sarcophagus.
