In Perdasdefogu a pre-Romanesque church of the IX century B.C.
In Perdasdefogu the pre-Romanesque church of Saint Sebastiano, constructed between the IX and the XI century, is worth a visit. The inner structure (as for example the arches that separate the nave and the two side aisles) remembers some churches of the Catalonia region.
In the territory of Ussassai is worth a visit the small country church dedicated to San Salvatore. Constructed in Romanesque-Byzantine style, it dates back to the XII century and it is encircled by the “cumbessìas”, premises that accommodate the pilgrims who come from all over Ogliastra on the occasion of the celebrations in honor of San Salvatore and San Gerolamo.
