
In Torralba a museum that keeps the secret of nuraghs
In Torralba the Museum "La Valle dei Nuraghi del Logudoro-Meilogu" cherishes the numerous archaeological finds found by the archaeologists during the long period of work in the important nuragh of Santu Antine (mostly bronze objects, iron and ceramic), but other proofs of roman and medieval age too.
In the yard, some milliary stones help us to understand some of the big road system works made in Sardinia by romans during three centuries of permanence: a museum path that helps us to reconstruct an important part of the island history and, which proves to be very usefull from the educational viewpoint. As a matter of fact, the Museum "La Valle dei Nuraghi del Logudoro-Meilogu" is visited by many schools.
