Often in the Montiferru nuraghs and sacred pits are linked together
In the territory of Cuglieri rise the quadri-lobed nuraghs of Oragiana and Orakeris and those trilobed of Oratanda, Nurgheddonis and the nuraghe Maggiore.
In the nuraghic complex of Santa Cristina (Paulilatino) is present the homonym mono-tower nuragh, with a small corridor that leads to a circular room connected to three other rooms. The top of the tholos is reachable with a scale placed outside the structure. Around the nuragh and the sacred pit, there are the ruins of numerous huts, among which the one of reunions, with a row of seats in stone, where seated the tribe heads and the clergymen, who came from all the territory.
The name of Lugherras nuragh, in the territory of Paulilàtino, derives from the oil lamps found by the archaeologists during the diggings that brought to light the central tower. Unfortunately, a large part of bastion and four towers that encircled the original construction got lost. Around the nuragh can be seen the remains of the nuraghic village and a sacred pit.
The nuraghe Orgono (Ghilarza) was built up in various periods, it can be sensed also from the different techniques used to raise the corridor structure.
