In the countrysides of Sorgono a secret to yield up
In the territory of Sorgono, in the locality of Bidu ‘e concas (at a range of one kilometer from the sanctuary of Saint Mauro), there is a hill on which it is possible to visit one of best menhir concentrations in Sardinia: about fifty those already discovered, but in the students' opinion they should be much more.
Recently some menhir have been implanted in the ground, in accordance with the archaeologists' reconstructions based on an air photograph taken during the Second World War: they are on line with the East-West axis, the astral guideline which paid attention to the daily movement of the sun. It seems to be real probable that, a few meters away from these menhir, lays a temple or a sacred area still covered by the ground and the vegetation, which extension should be similar to the one in Goni.
