Goni, in Pranu Muttedu one of the most important archaeological sites of the island

In Goni there is the massive necropolis of Pranu Muttedu (dated back to the 3000 B.C.). The menhir are about sixty (it is the most considerable concentration of Sardinia, together with the one of Sorgono, but this last one must be still valorized), they are in good part aligned in accordance with an astral and temporal logic, linked to the cult of the ancestors. It is very important site from the scientific point of view, that attracts tourists and scholars from all the over the world: beyond to the menhir, people can admire the domus de janas and some other internments, as for example the tombs on a circle.
